In plain words

The One is where all real joy begins, and the steady support for anyone who feels they have no one.

Those who turn toward the teaching love the One and settle into calm, clear thought.

The One loves those who love back, and cuts away fear itself.

When the ego — the feeling of being a separate self, cut off from everything — is quieted, you take a real step and arrive.

Joy has a root, and that root holds the ones who feel held by no one.
The deeper layer

The One is where all joy begins, and the helper of anyone who feels alone.

Aanand mool — the root of all joy. Just as a tree's roots feed every leaf, real joy grows from the One.

Anaath aDhaaree — the support of those who feel they have no one to lean on.

Ha-umai maar — quieting the ego. Ha-umai is the feeling of being a separate self, cut off from everything else. When that loud "me, me, me" quiets down, the real step can finally be taken, and you arrive.

A Question to Sit With

Who is the One for the moments you feel completely alone?
