In plain words

Set down all your other schemes and scrambling, and rest your weight on the One support. Then taste the sweetness of the greatest treasure there is.

Stop scrambling for clever fixes, lean on the one support, and taste something sweet.
The deeper layer

Stop scrambling for clever fixes, lean on the one Support, and taste something sweet.

Chhod upaav ayk tayk raakh — let go of other upaav and keep the one tayk. Upaav means schemes, all the clever workarounds we try. Tayk means support, something you can lean your whole weight on.

Picture learning to float in a pool. The more you kick and thrash, the more you sink. When you finally relax and lean back, the water holds you up.

Then comes the gift. Mahaa padaarath amrit ras chaakh — taste the nectar of the greatest treasure. Amrit is the sweet, life-giving nectar. The shabad invites us to stop scrambling and simply lean. And in the leaning, we taste something sweet.

A Question to Sit With

What are you scrambling to fix that you might just be able to lean into instead?
