A Mind Bathed in Remembrance Loosens Its Tangles

ਨਿਰਮਲ ਉਦਕੁ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਕਾ ਨਾਮ ॥
nirmal udak govind kaa naam.
The water of the Name of the Lord of the Universe is immaculate and pure.
ਮਜਨੁ ਕਰਤ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਭਿ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥
majan karat pooran sabh kaam. ||1||
Take your cleansing bath in it, and all your affairs shall be resolved. ||1||

In plain words

The water of the Name of the One is spotlessly clear — nothing purer to wash a heart in.

Bathe in that, and the things that were tangled up inside you begin to come untangled and resolved.

A mind bathed in remembrance meets its tangles more clearly, and stuck things begin to loosen.
The deeper layer

Nirmal udak govind kaa naam — "the water of the Name of the One is immaculate." The metaphor from the Rahao is made explicit: the Name is the cleansing water. Majan karat pooran sabh kaam — "bathing in it, all affairs are resolved." This is not magic problem-solving; it is the way a settled, remembering mind meets its tangles more clearly, and things that seemed stuck begin to loosen. Inner clarity does quiet work in outer life.

A Question to Sit With

Have you noticed how a problem can look different — and more solvable — once your mind is calm and clear?
