In plain words

Each day, let me bathe in the clear pool of the One — dipping my whole self into that presence the way you slip into cool, clean water.

Let me drink deeply of that sweetness, the most refreshing thing there is.

The pool worth bathing in every day is the remembrance you can slip into anytime.
The deeper layer

This is the Rahao. Nitprat naavan raam sar keejai — "daily, bathe in the pool of the Lord." Bathing is a rich Gurbani image, and commentators read the outer ritual of pilgrimage-bathing as gently turned inward here. The cleansing pool the verse names is raam sar, the "lake of the One" — remembrance itself. And you don't just wash in it; you drink it, har amrit peejai — the amrit, the nectar, the sweetness that refreshes from the inside. Daily, ordinary, life-giving.

A Question to Sit With

What small daily practice leaves you feeling clean and refreshed on the inside?
