In plain words

I have settled, quietly and naturally, into the Divine One.

The Divine Teacher has become gentle and kind toward me.

The deepest peace isn't forced — it's something you settle into, naturally, like coming home.
The deeper layer

The Rahao names the shabad's whole state: arrival and ease. Sahj samaa-i-o dayv — 'I am naturally, effortlessly absorbed in the Divine' (sahj, natural equilibrium). No striving, no strain — a settling-in. And it came as gift: mo ka-o satgur bha-ay da-i-aal dayv — 'the Divine True Teacher became merciful to me.' The whole shabad is a tour of what this grace-given ease feels like — freedom, light, satisfaction, peace, and a delighted sense that all of existence is the One's play.

A Question to Sit With

When do you feel most naturally at ease — not trying, just calm and at home in yourself?
