In the awe of the true teacher, doubt and fear fall away. Filled with that awe, you melt into love for the True One.
This one says that awe of the Guru melts doubt and fear into love.
This is the Rahao, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad. Satgur kai bha-ay bharam bha-o jaa-ay — in the awe of the true Guru, doubt and fear go away. Bha-o can mean fear, and it can mean awe. Bharam means doubt, confusion.
Deep respect for the Guru clears away ordinary fear. Think of standing at the edge of the ocean. You feel small and full of wonder, and your little worries fade. Bhai raachai sach rang samaa-ay — filled with that awe, one melts into love for the True One.
