Nanak has found the peace of the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises. All his sorrows have been dispelled. ||4||15||153||

In plain words

When grace poured over me like kindness from the teacher, every worry I carried simply dissolved. I found real peace in singing the praises of the One, and all my sorrows lifted away.

Nanak's testimony: when grace arrived, worry dissolved and praise became peace.
The deeper layer

When grace arrives, worry melts and praise becomes peace.

The closing verse lands the shabad in keertan, singing the praises of the One. There miti-o sagal kalaysaa, all sorrows are wiped away.

Kirpaa parabh Dhaaree — God poured down mercy. Grace is not earned by effort. It is received when the heart is open, like rain falling on an open field.

Look at the path of the whole shabad. It began by telling the mind to keep the Guru near. It ends with the mind at rest, its andaysaa, its worries, gone. This is a movement Guru Arjan loves: from restless searching to arriving home in praise.

A Question to Sit With

When has singing, or being part of something bigger than yourself, made a worry feel smaller?
