ਜੋ ਧੁਰਿ ਰਾਖਿਅਨੁ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥
jo Dhur raakhi-an mayl milaa-ay.
Those who, by pre-ordained destiny, are united in the Lord's Union,
ਕਦੇ ਨ ਵਿਛੁੜਹਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥
kaday na vichhurheh sabad samaa-ay.
are never separated from Him again; they are absorbed in the Shabad.
ਆਪਣੀ ਕਲਾ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਜਾਣੈ ॥
aapnee kalaa aapay hee jaanai.
He Himself knows His Own Almighty Power.
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਛਾਣੈ ॥੪॥੫॥੨੫॥
naanak gurmukh naam pachhaanai. ||4||5||25||
O Nanak, the Gurmukh realizes the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||4||5||25||

Those joined to the One by destiny are never torn away again; they melt into the Word. The One alone knows its own vast power. And the one turned toward the teaching comes to know the Name.
Union given by grace holds forever -- the soul, once joined, is never torn away again.
The resolution: union by destiny (grace) is permanent -- never separated again. The One's power is self-known, beyond the mind that was just being tamed. The Gurmukh realizes the Name -- the destination of the whole mind-taming arc.
