In plain words

When the real and true settles deep inside me, I arrive — without forcing it — at a place of natural ease, like finally coming home. Understanding the One who is truly great, I taste that highest, most peaceful state.

When truth lives inside you, you come home to an ease you never had to force.
The deeper layer

This one says: when truth lives inside you, you come home to ease.

Antar saach sahj ghar aavahi — with the True One within, you come to the home of ease. Saach means the true. Sahj is natural, easy calm, the way a soul in tune with the One lives. You do not build this home. You aavahi, you arrive at it, because it was home all along. Think of walking in your own front door after a long trip.

Raajan jaan param gat paavahi — knowing the King, you reach the highest state. Raajan means the Great One, the true King. Param gat is the supreme state. Knowing that One from inside is what the highest state really means.

This is the bright answer to the restless kings earlier in the shabad. Real royalty is on the inside, and it is at peace.

A Question to Sit With

Where or with whom do you feel most completely at home in yourself?
