In plain words

"O One, You alone are the Giver — You Yourself forgive us and gather us back to You. Nanak comes to Your shelter: however You please, hold me and set me free."

"You alone give, You forgive, You gather me back — so however You please, hold me and set me free."
The deeper layer

The shabad ends in trust: the One gives, forgives, and brings us home.

Har parabh daataa ayk too — O God, You alone are the Giver. Everything traces back to one Source. Too aapay bakhas milaa-ay — You Yourself forgive us and join us to You. Forgiveness is not earned. It is given freely, and it is what brings us close.

Jan naanak sarnaagatee — Nanak comes for sarnaa, shelter and refuge. Ji-o bhaavai tivai chhadaa-ay — free me in whatever way pleases You. That is the deepest trust. It means letting Hukam, the flow of existence, carry you home. Think of floating on your back in a calm lake, trusting the water to hold you.

This verse closes the shabad.

A Question to Sit With

What does it feel like to fully trust that you'll be held and cared for, no matter what?
