The Deepest Wealth Isn't Gold; It's the Name

ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਬਚਨਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਿਧਿ ॥
gur kai bachan mayray kaaraj siDh.
Through the Guru's Word, my affairs are resolved.
ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਬਚਨਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਨਾਉ ਨਿਧਿ ॥੬॥
gur kai bachan paa-i-aa naa-o niDh. ||6||
Through the Guru's Word, I have obtained the nine treasures. ||6||

In plain words

With the teaching guiding me, the tangles in my life started sorting themselves out. And I found the richest treasure there is — not gold, but the Name, which is worth more than every kind of wealth put together.

The deepest wealth isn't gold — it's holding the Name, which quietly untangles the rest.
The deeper layer

Kaaraj sidh — "affairs are accomplished/resolved." Naa-o nidh echoes the nau nidh, the "nine treasures" of Indian tradition; here the Name itself is named the treasure that contains all treasures. The claim is not magical problem-solving but that a settled inner life untangles outer confusion.

A Question to Sit With

What is one 'treasure' you have that money could never buy?
