In plain words

When I keep saying, over and over, "the One, the teacher, the One, the teacher," my confusion melts away.

My mind fills up with a deep and quiet comfort.

Gently returning, again and again, to what you love can melt confusion into comfort.
The deeper layer

This is the Rahao, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad. It says that turning gently, again and again, to what you love melts confusion away.

Har har gur gur karat bharam ga-ay — saying "Har, Har" (the One) and "Guru, Guru," my doubts are gone. Bharam means doubt and confusion. Mayrai man sabh sukh paa-i-o — my mind has found every comfort.

Each verse in this shabad is a single short line, not a pair of lines. That keeps it simple.

Repeating the Name here is never empty. Think of calling out to someone you love in a dark house. Each time you say their name, you feel less alone. Saying the Name is a doorway to peace.

A Question to Sit With

What words or thoughts do you return to when your mind feels tangled?
