In plain words

When the loud "me, me, me" finally quiets down, a deep peace arrives, and both mind and body feel healed and whole.

And then, Nanak says, something opens: you begin to see the One clearly — the One so beautiful and so good that all you want to do is sing its praise. The healing and the seeing come together; the quieter the ego, the clearer the view.

When the loud "me" grows quiet, peace and healing arrive — and the One becomes clear to see.
The deeper layer

When the loud "me" fades, peace comes, mind and body heal, and the One comes into view.

Khudee mitee tab sukh bha-ay — when ego is erased, peace comes — and man tan bha-ay arog, mind and body made healthy: ego is a sickness that heals. The reward is sight: daristee aa-i-aa ustat karnai jog — the One becomes visible, worthy of praise. Here is the whole logic of the closing letters in two lines: the fading of khudee, self-importance, heals and clears the view.

A Question to Sit With

When your mind gets quiet and still, what do you start to notice that you usually miss?
