Stay a beginner before what you love, and you'll always be ready to learn something new.
Toon satgur, ha-o nautan chaylaa — "You are the True Guru, I am the new disciple." Kabir places himself as the beginner, always fresh before the teaching — a posture of humility that is also hope. The closing ant kee baylaa ("the final moment") we render as "whenever the moment comes," keeping the urgency of readiness without dwelling on end-of-life fear (wellbeing rule).
