Think about it. Before anyone is born, in the very beginning of a life, there is no label. There is no "high family," no "low family." Every single person comes into the world the same way, from the same source of life.
Everyone starts life the same way, from the same source, before any label is added.
Kabir is speaking about how all people are equal. Garabh vaas meh kul nahee jaatee — before birth, there is no family rank and no jaat. Jaat is caste, the old system that sorted families into "high" and "low" by birth.
Barahm bind tay sabh utpaatee — everyone comes from the same seed of the One. Before anyone starts sorting people, everyone shares one beginning.
Think of new babies in a hospital nursery. Nobody can tell whose family is rich or famous. Each one is simply a new little person.
Kabir's point is strong and clear. The rankings people build are stacked on top of a shared start. Being "better" because of your birth is not real.
Where do the labels that separate people actually come from — and were they ever really part of who someone is?
