The Mind Finds What It Belongs To and Settles

My mind is intuitively pleased with Him. ||1||Pause||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Now I know the Beloved as truly my own. Easily, naturally, my mind has come to rest content.

When the mind finds what it truly belongs to, it settles easily, all on its own.
The deeper layer

The Rahao. Sahj subhaa-ay — "with natural ease" — the mind settles, content. The recognition is not effortful; it is the sahaj poise of a mind that has found what it belongs to. "My own" makes the One intimate, not distant.

A Question to Sit With

When have you felt your mind settle easily, without having to force it?
