In plain words

After the storm comes the rain — a warm, gentle rain — and I am soaked right through with it. This is the rain of the Beloved, and I am glad to be drenched.

My whole mind lit up, says Kabir, the moment I saw the sun rise inside me.

After the clearing comes the light — the quiet sunrise of a mind finally awake.
The deeper layer

The storm passes; the rain that follows can be read as grace, and Kabir lets himself be soaked (bheenaa) — completely open, holding nothing back. Then the sunrise: udai bhaan — the inner light dawning, the mind becoming pargaas (lit up, awake). The arc moves from wild storm, to soaking rain, to quiet sunrise — clearing, then blessing, then light.

A Question to Sit With

Can you remember a time when something finally "clicked" and your mind felt bright and clear? What did that feel like?
