O my Beloved, my true King, You are utterly fearless.
You are the one who carries every soul safely across.
Kabir praises the One as the fearless King who carries everyone across.
This is the rahao, the "pause" line. It is a single line of praise that holds the whole song. Raajaa raam — the Sovereign King, the One who is in everything. Nirbha-o — without fear. It is the same word, nirbhau, that the Mool Mantar uses for the One.
Because the One fears nothing, the One can be taran taaran, the boat that carries every soul across life's deep waters. Think of a big, steady ferry on a stormy lake. The passengers can relax because the boat is not afraid of the waves.
Kabir sets this line as the anchor. The two short verses after it describe what it feels like when a person actually reaches that far shore.
What does it feel like to trust something completely enough that fear lets go?
