Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

O students of the teacher, keep the One's name alive. Saying it, all your wrongs are washed clean.

Keep the One's name, and what weighs on you is washed clean.
The deeper layer

The Rahao: a direct call to the GurSikhs to chant -- the Name as what washes away sins (cf. the cleansing within). Communal address: practice is something done together, as a community of disciples.

A Question to Sit With

What helps you feel "washed clean" after you have done something wrong?
