Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Inside and out, I am safe in your shelter; you are the greatest of the great, all-powerful. And I sing your praises night and day, having met the teacher who joins me to you.
The teacher is the go-between who joins the soul to the One it sings of day and night.
The close: total refuge -- inside and outside -- in the One who is greatest of the great. The Guru is named the Divine Intermediary (the go-between who arranges the marriage of soul and One). The dyed, surrendered soul rests wholly in the One's protection.
A Question to Sit With
Who has been a "go-between," connecting you to something bigger than yourself?
