In plain words

You meet a truly holy person only when the timing is perfectly ripe. Such complete people live glad in the truth. Handing over their whole heart and body, they find the One with quiet ease. And I bow down at their feet.

We find what is true by handing over the whole heart -- and by honoring those already living it.
The deeper layer

Good people come into our lives as a gift, and we find the One by giving our whole heart.

SaaDh milai poorab sanjog — you meet a saaDh, a holy person, only when the time is right, by destiny. It cannot be forced or planned. Sangat, good company, comes to us as grace.

Sach rahsay pooray har log — the One's complete people live glad in the truth. Man tan day lai sahj subhaa-ay — giving their mind and body, they find the One with sahj, easy, natural calm.

Naanak tin kai laaga-o paa-ay — Nanak bows at their feet. Think of a young player watching a great coach, eager to learn. Guru Nanak shows us that posture. It is respect for those further along the road, not a wish to be the master.

A Question to Sit With

Is there someone whose way of living you quietly look up to? What about them?
