Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
I am poor and small, but I am yours -- save me, greatest of the great. I live on the food of the Name, and in it I find a deep, heavenly peace.
Poor and small, but the One's -- and the Name is the food that brings deep peace.
The close: humility (poor and meek) and belonging (but I am Yours) -- the claim that opens grace. The Name as sustenance (cf. the food/diet images) brings effortless peace. The poor one who belongs to the One is safe.
A Question to Sit With
Have you ever felt that simply belonging somewhere was enough?
