Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Listening to the One's word, my stains were washed away. I have become completely clean, and now I walk in peace. By great good fortune I found the company of the holy, and I have fallen in love with the One.

Listening washes the soul clean -- and in holy company, you fall in love with the One.
The deeper layer

The opening: listening (Suniai) washes pollution; the result is purity and peace. The Saadh Sangat found by good fortune (grace) leads to falling in love with the One. Listening, company, and love in one movement.

A Question to Sit With

Has truly listening to something ever left you feeling washed clean?
