In plain words

When you're soaked in what's true, the whole world starts to look true and shining, alive with the One.

Knowing the One through the teaching, something in me has gone cool and calm — settled, peaceful, at rest.

When you're full of what's true, the whole world starts to look true and alive.
The deeper layer

This is the pause line, the rahaa-o, the center of the shabad.

It says that when you are soaked in truth, the whole world looks true. Sabh jag saachaa jaa sach meh raatay: dyed in sach, truth, you see all the world as saachaa, real and shining with the One. It is like putting on clean glasses after days of smudgy ones. The world did not change. Your seeing did.

The second half says seetal saat, cool and calm, from knowing the One through the Guru. That coolness answers the fire of the verse before. The teaching's gift is a settled calm.

A Question to Sit With

How does the world look different on a day when you feel calm and settled inside?
