Joining the humble Saints, chant the Lord's Name.
ਸਭ ਤੇ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਪੂਰਨ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sabh tay nirmal pooran kaam. ||1|| rahaa-o.
This is the most immaculate and perfect occupation of all. ||1||Pause||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Gathering with good and gentle people, let us say the One's Name together.

Of all the work there is, this is the clearest and most whole.

Of all the things people do, turning toward the One together is the clearest work.
The deeper layer

The rahau. Sant janaa mil — meeting with the good — turns remembrance into something shared. Sabh tay nirmal pooran kaam — the purest and most complete of all works. Not because other work is worthless, but because this is the one that clears and completes the heart.

A Question to Sit With

What is something good that feels even better when you do it with others?
