In plain words

When I hold the Name of the One, my worries and troubles melt away.

The ache in me quiets down, and peace moves in to take its place.

Remembering the One again and again, I feel full — like I have everything I need.

In the company of good and loving people, every good thing has come to me.

Hold the One in mind, and peace comes to sit where the ache used to be.
The deeper layer

Guru Arjan says that holding the One's Name makes worry and trouble fade away.

Kal kalays mitay har naa-ay — fights and troubles melt away in the Name. Then comes a gentle picture. Dukh binsay sukh keeno thaa-o — pain leaves, and peace sits down in its seat. Peace does not just pass by. It moves in and stays.

Think of a noisy classroom. The loud kid finally goes home, and a calm friend takes that chair. The room feels different now.

Aghaa-ay means full, like after a good meal. You are not hungry for more. The Guru says this fullness comes sant parsaad, by the kindness of good people around us. It is a gift we share, not something we win alone.

A Question to Sit With

When have you felt a worry quiet down instead of growing louder?
