Know the One who made you — keep that One close.
Then wherever you go, you are welcomed and honored.
Your mind and body grow clean and glad,
as your tongue keeps the Name of the One.
Keep the One who made you close, and mind and body grow clean and glad.
Jin tooN kee-aa tis ka-o jaan — know your Maker. To 'be honored in the Court' (dargeh paavai maan) is rendered gently as being welcomed wherever you go; the deeper meaning is that a life aligned with the One meets no ultimate rejection. Nirmal (immaculate) and nihaal (blissful) describe a mind and body cleansed and gladdened — not by scrubbing, but by what the Name naturally does to a person.
