O my mind, lean your whole weight on the One.
Wherever I go, the One walks with me — never behind, never left at home — and quietly keeps the honor of everyone who trusts in it.
The One is not somewhere you go to — it goes wherever you go.
This is the rahau, the refrain the whole shabad circles back to. Bharvaasaa is deep trust — not a wish, but resting your weight on something that holds. The promise jah jaa-ee-ai tah naal (wherever I go, there with me) turns the One from a distant help into a constant companion. Hum this line quietly under all the verses.
