In plain words

Remembering the One is like medicine for a million troubles.

Turning my heart to the One is my chant and my charm.

Aches and sorrows ease when I hold the One in mind.

And the good things my heart truly longs for come to be.

Turning your heart to the One is the medicine and the mantra, both at once.
The deeper layer

A-ukhadh kot simar gobind — remembrance as medicine is a signature Gond theme. The verse gently absorbs the era's tant mant (mantras and charms) by saying: turning the heart to the One is my mantra, my charm — no other technique needed. Rog sog mitay names both bodily aches and inner sorrows easing. The promise of man baaNchhat fruits is not magic wish-granting but the quiet fulfillment of what the heart most truly wants.

A Question to Sit With

When you feel unwell in body or heart, what settles you?
