In plain words

The One, the One, is found in the company of good people.

Again and again I sing of the One.

What could never be grasped, I have found by meeting the Teacher.

I hold fast to the One's support with all my heart.

What you can't grasp by reaching, you find by keeping good company.
The deeper layer

Naaraa-in saadhsang — the One is met in good company, the recurring Gond conviction. Basat agochar — 'the object beyond the senses,' what cannot be grasped by thinking or reaching — is found by meeting the Teacher, i.e. through the teaching and the company it gathers. The shabad's long chant of the Name resolves in simply holding on (ot gahee): grabbing the One support that holds.

A Question to Sit With

How do the people around you shape what you're able to understand or become?
