Verse 4 of 4

The One Is In The Body, The Body In The One

har meh tan hai tan meh har hai sarab nirantar so-ay ray.
The body is contained in the Lord, and the Lord is contained in the body. He is permeating within all.
Says Kabir, I shall not renounce the Lord's Name. I shall accept whatever happens. ||3||3||

In plain words

Here is what I keep coming back to: the One is inside this body, and this body rests inside the One. There's no gap between us at all.

So I hold the Name close and won't let it go, and whatever comes, I meet it with an easy heart — letting what happens, happen.

The One is in you and you are in the One — so hold the Name and meet life with ease.
The deeper layer

The resolution to all that wondering. Har meh tan hai, tan meh har hai — the body is in the One, the One is in the body, sarab nirantar, present through everything without a seam. Kabir's answer to the great questions is not a theory but a settling: keep the Name, and live in sahaj — the natural ease of one who has stopped fighting what is.

A Question to Sit With

What would change if you truly felt there was no gap at all between you and the vastness you came from?
