In plain words

There is only One. And the One is found by the True Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.

People can do the biggest, most impressive things — grand ceremonies, giving away their own weight in gold, traveling far to bathe in holy rivers.

All of it can look wonderful from the outside.

Even the grandest outer act is only the start of the question, not the answer.
The deeper layer

P0 opens by naming three of the most respected acts in the world Namdev knew — the great horse-sacrifice (asumedh), giving one's own weight in gold to charity, and the pilgrimage-bath at Prayag. The verse lists them without scorn; they are genuinely difficult, genuinely admired. The setup matters: the shabad is about to weigh even these against one quiet thing.

A Question to Sit With

What is something that looks impressive from the outside but might be empty on the inside?
