The Third House's two-line verses move fast. All our relationships are made by the One — a gift entrusted, not owned (P0). The Pause line surrenders self-reliance — mind and body belong to the One (P1). Devotion is infused, letting a person live in the midst of family life yet unattached — the lotus in the water (P2). Get the center right and right action follows (P3); daily work becomes the One's tasks, the ego's lonely authorship laid down (P4); and the close rests it all on a gentle, loving focus on the Name (P5).
