Remembering Him, all sins are erased, and ones generations are saved.

So meditate continually on the Lord, Har, Har; He has no end or limitation. ||1||

In plain words

Hold the One in mind and the weight of old wrongs lifts — even those who come after you are blessed by it.

So keep turning to the One, who has no end and no edge.

The good of a remembering life doesn't stay with you — it quietly ripples out to everyone connected to you.
The deeper layer

Remembering the One blesses you, and it blesses your family too.

Guru Arjan, the fifth Guru, opens with a promise that reaches past one person. Jis simrat sabh kilvikh naaseh — remembering the One, all wrongs are wiped away. Pitree ho-ay uDhaaro — and your family line is lifted up too.

So remembering the One is not a private deal. Its good spreads out, like ripples when you drop a stone in a pond. It reaches your family and even people who come later. And the One we remember is jaa kaa ant na paaro — without end or far shore. So the blessing has no ceiling either.

A Question to Sit With

Whose steadiness or goodness has blessed you, maybe from a generation before your own?
