In plain words

Master, this is the kind of Name You have.

You are called the Lord of all creation, and You throw Your unique support behind Your servant.

The One vast enough to belong to all of creation still stoops to put unique support behind one humble life.
The deeper layer

This line is amazed at the One's Name: great enough for everyone, close enough for one person.

It is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad (hymn). Thaakur aiso naam — Master, such is Your Name. The Name is known by what it does.

Sagal sarisat ko Dhanee kaheejai — You are called the Owner of all creation. The One belongs to everyone, not to one group only. And yet: jan ko ang niraaro — You give Your servant a very special support.

These two together are the wonder. Think of a head teacher who knows the whole school, and still kneels down to tie the shoe of one little first-grader. The huge One, Lord of everything, bends down to hold up one humble life. Greatness that could ignore you chooses to lift you up.

A Question to Sit With

What does it stir in you to imagine that something that big could be personally on your side?
