Pride Is Cured by the Lowest Medicine: the Dust of Feet

In plain words

My mind and body ache for the dust of the One's humble servants.

That dust wipes out the wrongs of countless lifetimes; fulfill this longing of mine, One of the universe.

The disease of pride is fittingly cured by the lowest medicine — the dust of the feet of the good, longed for, not earned.
The deeper layer

The Pause line locates the medicine's delivery in the humblest place: "the dust of the Lord's humble servants." The cure for the disease of ego (P0) is fittingly the lowest thing — dust, and longing to be near the feet of the good. Pride is healed by humility; the swollen self is treated by gladly taking the small place. And the whole thing is a longing, not an achievement — "please fulfill my desire" — so even the cure is asked for as a gift.

A Question to Sit With

What humble place or company might be exactly the medicine for a pride you'd rather not admit?
