Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

My mind, worship the One's lotus feet.

Remember, and strife and sorrow end, and the grip of death is snapped.

One turning of the mind addresses both the daily weather of strife and the biggest fear beneath it.
The deeper layer

The Pause line pairs a simple practice with a large release: remembrance ends "strife and sorrow" and snaps "the noose of the Messenger of Death." Strife and sorrow are the daily weather of a divided mind; death's noose is the ultimate fear beneath. Both loosen in the same act. The mind fastened on the One is at peace with its days and unafraid of its end — the small troubles and the biggest one addressed by one turning.

A Question to Sit With

What if the same small practice could ease both today's friction and a deeper fear you carry?
