Listen, O seekers of Truth - Nanak begs you to renounce the traps of Maya.

Reflect within your mind, that by enshrining love for the One Lord, you shall not be subject to birth and death again. ||4||

Listen, seekers of truth — Nanak begs you, let go of the glitter's traps.
Turn it over in your mind: love the One, and you'll not come and go again.
Even the teacher doesn't command — he begs, and invites you to think it through for yourself.
A direct, humble appeal — "Nanak begs you" — to "seekers of Truth." The one thing asked is to release "the traps of Maya," the sticky snares of the glitter. And the reasoning is offered for reflection, not imposed: "reflect within your mind" that loving the One ends the endless "birth and death," the weary circling. Even the teacher does not command; he begs, and invites you to think it through yourself.
A Question to Sit With
What snare do you keep half-noticing you're caught in? What would gently letting it go feel like?
