In plain words

Blessed is the true teaching, which knocked down the fortress of doubt.

Wonderful, wonderful the true teaching, which joined me to the One! It gave me the medicine of the Name's endless treasure and banished the terrible disease. I gained the great wealth of the Name and eternal life by recognizing my own self. The glory of the teaching can't be told — it is the Supreme One itself, endless and unseen.

The deepest life comes from recognizing your own true self — to know who you really are beneath the fear is to touch the deathless.
The deeper layer

The sixteenth Pauree celebrates the teaching as demolisher of "the fortress of doubt" and giver of "the medicine of the Naam." One phrase is central: "eternal life, recognizing my own self." Deathless life comes through aap pachaan — knowing your own true self, which turns out to be one with the One. The teaching's greatest gift is not information but self-recognition: to know who you really are, beneath the name and the fear, is to touch the deathless.

A Question to Sit With

What might you find if you looked beneath your name, roles, and fears to who you really are?
