The Naam, the Name of the Lord, is my only support and wealth; O Nanak, from this, I obtain bliss. ||2||26||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

At dawn I fall at the feet of Your servants; day and night I see them.

I give body and mind to serve the good, and sing the One's praises with my tongue. With every breath I remember, living always in good company; the Name is my only wealth and support — Nanak's bliss comes from it.

A whole ordinary day organized around love and good company — the humble ambition made into a way of living.
The deeper layer

The verse fills out the life the Pause line asked for: early rising, constant service, unbroken remembrance, life "in the Society of the Saints." The Name is "my only support and wealth," and from it "bliss." It is a portrait of a whole ordinary day organized around love and good company — the humble ambition of P0 made into a way of living.

A Question to Sit With

What would a day organized around love and good company actually look like for you?
