Raag Jaijaavantee

The shabad opens the raag with the Mool Mantar and the rahau's steady call to remember the One and to release the grip of the passing show. From there it moves through perspective: wealth is a dream and empires are walls of sand. It closes on the body passing, moment by moment, yesterday and today alike — held not as dread but as a reason to love now.
