the humble servants of my Lord and Master would not even want it. They beg for the Lord to bless them with the Lord's Sublime Essence. ||6||

In plain words

Suppose all the gold of the seven continents and the oceans were dug out and piled up in front of them.

The people of my Master would not even want it. They ask for the One, and pray, "Please give us Your sweet taste."

When your heart is full of the Name, gold looks small.
The deeper layer

The people who love the One would turn down all the gold in the world and ask only for the One.

Picture it. BasuDhaa sapat deep: the earth and its seven continents. All their gold, and the gold of the oceans too, is piled up in front of them. That is all the wealth in the world.

Thaakur kay jan are the Master's own people. Inahu na baachheh: they do not even want the gold. Har maageh: they ask for the One. They ask for har ras, the sweetness of the Name.

Imagine being offered every video game ever made, or one more hour with someone you love. The heart knows which is worth more. This verse quietly changes what counts as riches.

A Question to Sit With

If you could ask for one thing that money can't buy, what would it be?
