The Guru has taught me that Dharmic faith is the flower, and spiritual wisdom is the fruit; this fragrance permeates the world. ||5||

In plain words

Whoever keeps doing clean, good deeds, again and again, grows green branches every day.

The Guru has taught me: living rightly is the flower, and wisdom is the fruit. Their fragrance fills the whole world.

A good life is a tree in bloom; its fragrance reaches farther than you know.
The deeper layer

A good life grows like a healthy tree, and its fragrance spreads through the world.

Nirmal karam are clean, good deeds. They make the saakhaa, the branches, haree, green and fresh.

Dharam ful fal gur gi-aan: right living is the flower, and the Guru's wisdom is the fruit. Dharam here means living rightly. Then behkaar baas jag deejai: the fragrance spreads through the whole world.

Think of someone baking bread early in the morning. The whole street smells it, even people who never go inside. A life lived well quietly blesses everyone downwind of it.

A Question to Sit With

How might one person's kindness quietly reach people they never even meet?
