In plain words

Desire and anger are very strong in the town of this body. Every day I get up and fight them, again and again.

Make me Your own and keep me safe. Through the Perfect Guru, I drive them out.

Strong feelings rise every day, and with the Guru's help you can drive them out.
The deeper layer

Desire and anger are strong inside everyone, and with the Guru's help they can be driven out.

Kaam karodh nagar meh sablaa: desire and anger are powerful in the body, pictured as a town. Nit uth uth joojh kareejai: day after day I rise to fight them. Angeekaar karahu, rakh layvhu: make me Your own and keep me safe. Gur pooraa kaadh kadheejai: through the Perfect Guru, they are driven out. The struggle is daily, and the help comes from the One.
