So behold the Wondrous and Amazing Play of the Lord. In an instant, He distinguishes the genuine from the counterfeit.

And that is why His humble servant is in bliss. Those of pure heart meet together, while the evil ones regret and repent. ||3||

In plain words

Look, O people of the One, at the amazing play of the One: in an instant the One tells the true coin from the fake.

That is why the One's servant is full of joy. Those with pure hearts come together, while the false ones are left full of regret.

The truth of a heart shows itself in time, and honest hearts find each other.
The deeper layer

The One sees at once what is true and what is false, and pure hearts find joy together.

Choj vidaan: the wondrous play of the One, which tells khotaa kharaa, the fake from the true, in a nimakh, the blink of an eye. Think of a shopkeeper who can tell a fake coin from a good one just by the sound it makes on the counter. Anad: joy for the pure-hearted who meet. Khotay pachhutaanai: the false are left with regret, and regret can be the first step back.

A Question to Sit With

How can you tell when someone is being honest with you?
