O Nanak, one's essence is blended into the Essence; the diamond of the mind is pierced through by the Diamond of the Lord. ||2||2||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Fruitful, fruitful, fruitful is the blessed sight of the One. Touching that touch again and again, I sing the One's praises.

Nanak says: my essence blends into the great Essence, and the diamond of my mind is pierced through by the Diamond of the Lord.

Your truest self is made to blend into a larger Truth, like diamond meeting diamond.
The deeper layer

Your deepest self is made to blend into the One, like a diamond joined to a Diamond.

Safal daras: the fruitful sight. Paras paras: touching again and again. Tat tat si-o milee-ai: essence blends into Essence. Heerai heer biDhaa-ee-ai: the diamond of the mind is pierced and joined by the Diamond of the One. Union of like with like: the soul recognizing its own source.

A Question to Sit With

When have you felt perfectly matched to something greater than yourself?
