In plain words

The moment I laid eyes on the One, I became pure and clean. And not just me — everyone around me, all my family and friends, were lifted up too. The One is beyond reach, beyond grasping, my own master — and only by the teacher's kindness can I hold the real, the true, in my mind.

A heart truly changed by the One lifts everyone around it — your becoming pure is a gift to everyone who loves you.
The deeper layer

This pauri shows that the blessing of the darshan (the sight of the One) does not stop with the one who receives it — it spreads to others. Darsan pekhat bhae puneetaa — "beholding the darshan, [I] became puneet (pure)." But then the striking widening: sagal udhaare bhaaee meetaa — "all my bhaaee (siblings) and meetaa (friends) were udhaare (lifted up, carried across, saved)."

This is a beautiful and important teaching: spiritual transformation is not a private possession. The verse does not explain how — it simply says that where the darshan purifies one person, the family and friends are lifted too. The uplift reaches beyond the individual. Your becoming pure is a gift to everyone who loves you. (Recall sabhe saajheevaal from Shabad 7 — we are all co-sharers; one person's grace becomes the family's grace.)

The verse then returns to the paradox the section keeps holding: agam agochar suaamee apunaa — the master is agam agochar (beyond reach, beyond the senses), and yet apunaa, "my own." The unreachable One is intimately mine. And the bridge between the unreachable and the intimate is named: gur kirpaa te sach dhiaaee — "by the Guru's kirpaa (grace), I remember the sach (the True, the Real)." You cannot reach the agam agochar by yourself; the Guru's grace lets you hold the True One in mind. So the verse teaches two things together: the meeting purifies not just you but all you love, and the meeting itself is grace, given through the Guru. Your transformation blesses your whole world, and it was never your own doing in the first place.

A Question to Sit With

The verse says when one person is changed, their whole family and friend circle is lifted too. Have you ever seen one person's growth or peace quietly make everyone around them better?
