Everything becomes real and right when it lines up with what the True One wills — when it fits the way things are truly meant to be. The one who has really come to know what's real settles into **sahaj**, that deep, easy peace. The whole way of life of the **gurmukh** is simply to serve the True One — and so they go and blend right back into the True One, like a river reaching the sea.
This verse says whatever pleases the True One is true, and a life spent serving the True One flows home into it.
After the big four-step map, this verse brings things down to earth. "Sabh hai sachaa jay sachay bhaavai" — everything is true if it pleases the True One. That means when it fits hukam, the way the One makes the world run. This is freeing. Things aren't good or bad at random. Something is "true" when it's in tune with the deep order of things. Living well isn't mainly about following a list of rules. It's about getting in tune with how things really are, like a singer finding the right note.
This ties to the fourth step from the last verse. Down in the three pulls of Maya, you keep fighting what is. You want it to be different, and you push and grab. But "jin sach jaataa so sahj samaavai" — whoever has truly known the Real settles into sahj, easy peace. Why easy? Because they've stopped swimming against the current and started flowing with it. Sahj is what it feels like to stop fighting what's real.
The last line makes it simple. "Gurmukh karnee sachay sayveh" — the gurmukh's karnee, their way of living, is to serve the True One. Nothing flashy. Just a life pointed toward the Real in everything they do. And then "saachay jaa-ay samaavani-aa" — they go and blend into the True One. Think of a river. It doesn't struggle to reach the sea. It keeps flowing its true way downhill, and the meeting happens by itself. A life pointed honestly toward the Real arrives at the Real. You just keep flowing true.
Think of a time you fought hard against something you couldn't change. How did it feel? What might "flowing with how things are" have looked like instead?
