jaa kai simran rid bigaas.
Meditating on Him, the heart blossoms forth.
jaa kai simran kavlaa daas.
Meditating on Him, Maya becomes one's slave.
jaa kai simran niDh niDhaan.
Meditating on Him, one is blessed with the treasures of wealth.
jaa kai simran taray nidaan. ||3||
Meditating on Him, one crosses over in the end. ||3||

Remembering the One, the heart opens like a flower.
Remembering, the pull of stuff loses its power over you. Remembering, you're rich in what really matters. Remembering, you cross safely in the end.
Steady remembering opens the heart and loosens the grip of stuff.
The bright turn of the litany: from relief to bigaas (blossoming) and nidhaan (treasure). "Maya becomes one's slave" means the pull of things no longer rules you — you hold them lightly. Remembrance ends in crossing over, safe.
