ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਦੂਖ ਨਿਵਾਰਣਹਾਰਾ ॥
kilbikh dookh nivaaranhaaraa.
God is the Destroyer of sin and pain.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸੇਵਿਆ ਸਬਦਿ ਵੀਚਾਰਾ ॥
gurmukh sayvi-aa sabad veechaaraa.
The Gurmukh serves Him, and contemplates the Word of the Shabad.
ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਵਰਤੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਭੀਜੈ ਹੇ ॥੯॥
sabh kichh aapay aap vartai gurmukh tan man bheejai hay. ||9||
He Himself is pervading everything. The Gurmukh's body and mind are saturated and pleased. ||9||

The One dissolves both wrongdoing and pain.
The one who follows the Guru gives their heart and lives close to the Word.
That One fills everything, everywhere, and a heart tuned to it grows full and glad, through and through.
The One can dissolve both the pain and the ache behind it.
The One is the destroyer of both fault and pain. A heart tuned to it, living close to the Word, grows full and glad all the way through.
